The Neighborhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI)

The European Union’s NDICI–Global Europe allocates €79.46 billion in 2021–2027 to help countries outside the European Union overcome their developmental challenges.

The new Neighborhood, Development, and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI)– Global Europe will modernize the external dimension of the EU’s budget. It will help increase the effectiveness and visibility of the EU’s external policies, strengthen their coordination with internal policies and give the EU the necessary flexibility to provide a faster response to new crises and challenges. This includes helping our partners to cope with the health and other socio-economic impacts of COVID-19.
